Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the power of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original item's level and any wasted resources won't get compensated.
The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To create them, you'll need a higher-quality token for rerolling. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next Success is to be rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
During a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without straining their accounts. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several ways to acquire these stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is accomplished by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is reached.
Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will begin the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Also, when a piece of gear reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. item upgrading can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium and the number of Upgrade Tokens.
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This gives them more effects or an improved quality of the item. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from upgrading less for their increased stats, but more for the fact that it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor), the tier of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
