Statement Lock
The lock is designed to be hung externally on the doors of commercial vehicles (trucks & vans) offering an evident deterrent and a higher level of security. It can be used together with other anti-theft devices, and operates independently of the manufacturer's locking system.
The LOCK statement creates shared locks on all tables that are which are listed in the table specification. If there is a viewtable specified, then the lock creates shared locking on all base tables that are underneath the viewtable. The LOCK table command is used for locking all tables in a specific database, a specific row, or even a specific table.
