(2) Methods A survey was conducted from August to October 2018, seeking general information concerning the management of occupational exposure to BBF and the cost of the management process. In total, 216 healthcare facilities were surveyed, using a stratified-selection method. The collected information included BBF management protocols, direct costs such as laboratory testing fees, drug costs and medical service fees, as well as indirect costs, such as wages, lost working time, injury compensation, and psychological counseling time. (3) Results The cost of post-BBF exposure management varied according to the infection status of the exposure source patients, the immune status of exposed employees, and the location and level of healthcare facilities. The mean values of management cost were determined to be hepatitis B (HBV)-positive source (RMB 5936/USD 897), hepatitis C (HCV)-positive source (RMB 5738/USD 867), Treponema pallidum (TP)-positive source (RMB 4508/USD 681), human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-positive source (RMB 12,709/USD 1920), and unknown sources (RMB 7441/USD 1124). The survey also revealed that some healthcare facilities have insufficient post-exposure management. (4) Conclusions A better post-exposure management system is needed in Beijing to reduce both infection risk after exposure and costs.This paper introduces a mathematical compartmental formulation of dose-effect synergy modelling for multiple therapies in non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) antiangiogenic, immuno- and radiotherapy. The model formulates the dose-effect relationship in a unified context, with tumor proliferating rates and necrotic tissue volume progression as a function of therapy management profiles. The model accounts for inter- and intra-response variability by using surface model response terms. Slow acting peripheral compartments such as fat and muscle for drug distribution are not modelled. This minimal pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PKPD) model is evaluated with reported data in mice from literature. A systematic analysis is performed by varying only radiotherapy profiles, while antiangiogenesis and immunotherapy are fixed to their initial profiles. Three radiotherapy protocols are selected from literature (1) a single dose 5 Gy once weekly; (2) a dose of 5 Gy × 3 days followed by a 2 Gy × 3 days after two weeks and (3) a dose of 5 Gy + 2 × 0.075 Gy followed after two weeks by a 2 Gy + 2 × 0.075 Gy dose. A reduction of 28% in tumor end-volume after 30 days was observed in Protocol 2 when compared to Protocol 1. No changes in end-volume were observed between Protocol 2 and Protocol 3, this in agreement with other literature studies. Additional analysis on drug interaction suggested that higher synergy among drugs affects up to three-fold the tumor volume (increased synergy leads to significantly lower growth ratio and lower total tumor volume). Similarly, changes in patient response indicated that increased drug resistance leads to lower reduction rates of tumor volumes, with end-volume increased up to 25-30%. In conclusion, the proposed minimal PKPD model has physiological value and can be used to study therapy management protocols and is an aiding tool in the clinical decision making process. Thirty-six children who were institutionalized at shelter homes in the Department of Chuquisaca were selected to receive sessions of psychomotricity over a five-month period. The Infant/Toddler Home Observation for Measurement of the Environment (IT-HOME) scale and the Attachment During Stress Scale (ADS) were used. The adult-child relationship with factors of responsiveness (-0.89; p = 0.037), acceptance (0.57; p = 0.024), organization (-1.03; p less then 0.001), learning material (-2.57; p less then 0.001) and involvement (-1.92; p less then 0.001) scored below expectations, showing that environmental indicators are a poor stimulation for children growing up in shelter homes.
